About us
Created by people with years of experience shifting the conversation on the crises in our climate and democracy, Speak Up was born out of a desire to support more people to speak out on the issues that matter.
Speak Up is an agency that collaborates with the brave people who are telling new stories; the kinds of stories – about how to tackle climate change and the downfall of democracy – that are desperately needed at this moment in our shared history. At a time when disinformation is at an all time high, and inaction on our greatest challenges has become all but normalised, we have created an agency unlike any other, working with a community of speakers who, like us, want to use their voices to inspire a better world.
We firmly believe Speak Up is not just be about empowering speakers – we must empower everyone. We know from experience that each and every one of us has it in our power to change things, by using our voices to reject the current story where nothing ever changes, and by telling a better story that is fair, kind and collaborative.
That’s why at Speak Up, we don’t work for speakers, we work with them, on a shared strategy to create real, impactful change.
