Alex is a writer, activist and specialist on the relationship between climate change and the food we eat, with a background in journalism, academia and the non-profit sector.
For the last two decades Alex has served the climate and animal movements as a leader and public speaker. He is a founder of a number of grassroots movements in the UK and worldwide including Animal Rising and The Save Movement. Alex has served as a spokes person for these groups, shifting the conversation during challenging interviews following controversial public protests. He is a Winston Churchill Fellow and holds a fellowship at UCL’s Climate Action Unit. Alex authored a major food system report Planting Value in Food launched at COP26.
