Love Ssega is a performing artist and musician whose work covers civic engagement, social activism and hope. He has performed internationally, been commissioned by the National Gallery, Royal Shakespeare Company, Serpentine, Philharmonia Orchestra amongst others, and is currently Associate Artist of the Southbank Centre for the next 3 years.
As a speaker, Love Ssega is also comfortable debating scientific topics as first author of scientific peer-reviewed articles and having spent 8 years at Cambridge University including a one year scholarship to MIT. Love Ssega was an official host at UN COP26 and been featured by the New York Times Climate Forward.
Love Ssega also founded clean air movement LIVE + BREATHE, raising the voices of Black communities in South London advocating for clean air using art and culture.
